About Demand First

Evidence should keep its limits attached.

Demand First is a manually operated founding beta for technical B2B founders and small product studios deciding whether one workflow product deserves to be built. The immediate product is the Demand Test Sprint—not an automated validator or a live opportunity marketplace.

Live

Public pages, the closed-by-default application interface, privacy-conscious typed measurement code, first-touch attribution logic, and research resources. A manual review queue exists only when intake and durable persistence are deliberately enabled.

Manual founding beta

Fit review, scope, proposition framing, experiment build, distribution operations, analysis, and the decision memo.

Unverified

Willingness to pay at the founding price, acquisition quality, delivery hours, margins, customer outcomes, repeat demand, and a reliable sprint timeline.

Prototype lab

The Opportunity Lab and its detail pages use illustrative data, are noindexed, and are not proof, inventory, or a purchasable market.

FACT

Trace it to evidence

Product claims must map to current implementation, a repository truth record, first-party evidence, or a named external source.

INFERENCE

Show the reasoning

Interpretations identify the observed input, sample limitation, competing explanations, and confidence level.

HYPOTHESIS

Make it falsifiable

Prices, conversion rules, ICP assumptions, timelines, and commercial mechanisms stay labeled until observed behavior supports them.

Who writes and reviews Demand First Research?

Demand First is the current organizational author and publisher. No named editor, professional credential, customer advisory board, or independent review panel is claimed. When a verified responsible operator can be published, this page and article bylines should be updated.

Which sources are preferred?

Primary research, official documentation, regulator guidance, source-linked market evidence, current product pages, and clearly dated first-party observations. Vendor outcome claims are labeled as vendor claims rather than independent proof.

How are corrections handled?

Material factual errors should be corrected in the page, its update date, and the repository correction log. Demand First does not silently convert an inference or hypothesis into a verified fact.

Does search visibility change the standard?

No. Search and answer-engine pages must solve a real founder decision. Demand First does not publish thin wording variants, fabricated benchmarks, mass generic AI content, or unsupported “best” claims.

Submitted idea text and email belong to the restricted application record. General analytics events contain controlled dimensions and lengths—not email, raw idea or problem text, custom audience copy, or raw search queries. Contact records are not joined to an analytics session ID.
