Pay for evidence, not another seat.

Demand validation is not a subscription to more software. The planned model is designed around a scoped experiment, unavoidable test costs, and decision-grade evidence. The founding beta is curated and operated manually; it is not unrestricted self-service.

The meaningful distinction is not a feature limit. It is whether a successful experiment remains exclusive or can participate in the opportunity network under explicit terms.

Network experiment

Apply free. Fund only the agreed test inputs.

$0 application + platform fee

For selected founders willing to test under an explicit opportunity-network model. There is no platform fee to apply or launch an approved pilot, but media, domain, and other third-party costs are scoped and funded before work begins.

  • Manual fit review before anything launches
  • Agreed media and third-party costs are not hidden or subsidized by default
  • Base verdict included after the approved test
  • Full report only offered when useful signal exists; $299 is the working price hypothesis
  • Creator receives the intended first right to claim
  • Unclaimed intelligence can enter the market only under expressly agreed terms
Test in Network mode
Private experiment

Keep the experiment and intelligence exclusive.

$299 from + distribution

For founders who want a manually operated test and report outside the opportunity market. The working beta price begins at $299; media, domain, and other approved third-party costs are quoted separately.

  • No intended marketplace listing
  • Experiment intelligence remains exclusive under agreed terms
  • Private report included in the confirmed scope
  • Price buys controlled validation work—not a positive verdict
  • No automatic charge, subscription, or renewal

Opportunity access

Inspect demand before choosing what to build.

Per signal opportunity access

Planned access to proprietary demand intelligence. Price may vary with evidence quality, freshness, commercial value, and exclusivity.

  • Acquisition and intent evidence
  • Market, persona, and pricing context
  • Clear access scope before any payment
  • No purchase is available for sample opportunities

Demand First should not be rewarded for selling every founder an optimistic answer. Its economics should improve when an experiment produces decision-grade evidence or a genuinely useful opportunity. Unavoidable distribution spend is separated from the platform's fee so “free” never means someone else quietly funds the traffic.

NETWORK / NO SIGNAL

Pay the inputs. Stop early.

The approved media, domain, and third-party inputs are still real costs. The Network platform fee and base verdict remain $0; no full report is pushed after a weak signal.

NETWORK / USEFUL SIGNAL

Buy the depth only if earned.

A decision-grade report is offered only when the test produces useful signal. $299 is a beta price hypothesis, not an automatic charge or final offer.

PRIVATE / CONTROL

Fund exclusive work upfront.

Private begins at a planned $299 plus agreed distribution costs and includes the scoped report, whether the recommendation is BUILD, ITERATE, or KILL.

Idea Hunter is an experimental Network pathway for people testing opportunities they may never intend to build. If a validated opportunity later creates marketplace revenue, a share may be offered under the applicable terms. No share, percentage, sale, or validation outcome is guaranteed.

Selecting this mode is an expression of interest. It does not create a revenue entitlement until reviewed terms are expressly agreed.

Submit as an idea hunter
Will I be charged when I submit an idea?

No. Submitting joins the manual beta queue. Demand First must confirm the scope, mode, price, and applicable reviewed terms before a paid experiment begins.

Is a Network experiment completely free?

The planned application and platform fee is $0 for an approved Network pilot. Real media, domain, and third-party costs are agreed in advance and normally funded by the founder. Demand First will not launch spend or charge for a report from the intake form.

Does paying guarantee a BUILD recommendation?

No. Private pricing pays for validation work and evidence, not a favorable result. A weak signal may be the most valuable outcome if it prevents an unnecessary build.

Do I need a website or GitHub repository?

No. In the founding beta you submit the proposition in plain language. If selected, Demand First frames, builds, hosts, and operates the experiment surface under an agreed scope. Existing URLs and repositories may become optional inputs later, not intake gates.

Does anything renew after the test?

No. The founding experiment has a defined scope and end date. Hosting, monitoring, or ongoing optimization would require a new, explicit opt-in; there is no automatic SaaS rollover in the beta model.

Does Network mode transfer my idea?

No. The intended model separates the creator's underlying idea from rights in platform-generated experiment intelligence. The exact marketplace rights and claim process require explicit, professionally reviewed Experiment Terms.

Why can opportunity access cost more?

The working hypothesis is that fresher, stronger, or exclusive intelligence carries more decision value. The listed ranges are being tested and do not currently represent an offer to buy sample opportunities.
